Food and Beverage Quality Control
Water and process-solution measurement supports product consistency, hygiene and utility control.
Why digital measurement matters
Aquasol Digital instruments can be used for incoming water, ingredient water, beverages, process liquids, brines, CIP solutions, rinse water, boiler and cooling utilities and effluent. pH can influence flavour, stability and cleaning effectiveness; conductivity helps check concentration or rinse completion; dissolved oxygen may be important in beverage and process applications.
Recommended measurement workflow
- Define the decision the result must support.
- Identify the parameter, expected range and required resolution.
- Select a suitable meter, sensor and calibration standard.
- Collect a representative sample or confirm the online installation point.
- Calibrate, rinse and condition the sensor according to the manual.
- Allow the reading to stabilise and record temperature and calibration status.
- Investigate unexpected trends and confirm critical results when necessary.
Sampling
Use clean containers and representative locations. Avoid aeration or contamination where it could change the parameter.
Calibration
Use fresh standards, appropriate calibration points and a frequency suitable for the importance and stability of the measurement.
Maintenance
Clean sensors carefully, store them correctly and replace consumable membranes, electrolytes or electrodes when performance declines.
